HENRI LAUENER  Portrait The Lauener Foundation (Bern, Switzerland) was brought into being in 2003 under Professor Henri Lauener's will. Henri Lauener (1933-2002) was professor emeritus of analytical philosophy at the University of Bern and a member of the Institut International de Philosophie. Lauener was the editor of the international journal of philosophy of knowledge Dialectica and the organizer of an international congress series on analytic philosophy in Biel and Bern (1973-1993). In numerous essays and monographs, he developed and put forward his Open Transcendentalism.
