The main purpose of the Lauener Foundation - which is monitored by the Foundation's Council - is to award the twofold Lauener Prize for Analytical Philosophy. Every two years the Foundation holds an Awards Ceremony as well as a high-level International Symposium discussing crucial themes from the respective winner of the lifetime achievement award.
The "Lauener-Stiftung" was established under Professor Henri Lauener's will, and the Foundation's activities have since been shaped in line with his intentions. The "Henri Lauener" section of this website provides bibliographical and other sources on Lauener as a philosopher and as a human being.
